invitation-only · local source build

Evaluate CipherMap on a real repository—without sending us your source.

Approved developers receive a reviewed, history-free source archive and checksum-bound build guide. Build the Free Preview locally, run it with the documented offline controls, and decide whether its repository-level cryptographic discovery fits your workflow.

Requesting access does not create a paid subscription or guarantee admission. The Preview has no public, reusable download link.

Who it is for

A focused evaluation for technical practitioners

The Preview is intended for developers, AppSec engineers, security researchers, auditors, and technical consultants who can evaluate a local CLI and give specific feedback. It is not a production deployment, procurement shortcut, or readiness certification.

Included in the Preview

  • A reviewed, sanitized, history-free source archive with a bound checksum
  • A controlling build guide, exclusions notice, and Preview support boundary
  • Free local repository discovery with text, versioned JSON, and SARIF output
  • Free CI failure gates and supported remediation proposal previews in dry-run mode

Not included

  • Native binary downloads, signed installers, or automatic updates
  • Paid Tier A or Tier B licence activation in a normal source build
  • Production source-writing autofix or TUI/LSP writes
  • Live Tier B provider integrations or production Windows qualification
The access path

From request to first local scan

  1. 1

    Request named access

Tell us who you are, the repository workflow you want to evaluate, your primary languages, operating system, toolchain, and timing.

  2. 2

    Review fit and terms

CipherMap reviews requests individually. Approved recipients accept the Preview terms and receive named, expiring access; approval is not automatic.

  3. 3

    Verify and build locally

Verify the supplied checksum, extract into an empty directory, use the pinned Go 1.26.5 toolchain, and complete the documented dependency bootstrap through your approved Go module supply chain.

  4. 4

    Evaluate on your machine

Run the documented doctor and scan workflow with --offline and --no-telemetry. Your repository remains in your environment.

Review the public Preview terms, privacy notice, and support policy. Approved recipients also accept the exact source-use and confidentiality terms supplied with access.

Setup expectations

  • Use an empty working directory and verify the supplied archive checksum before extraction.
  • Install the pinned Go 1.26.5 toolchain and follow the provided commands exactly.
  • Use your approved Go module supply chain for the one connected dependency bootstrap; subsequent documented verification, build, doctor, and scan steps run with dependency resolution disabled.
  • Darwin/arm64 has bounded runtime-smoke evidence. Linux and Windows remain compile-only until native qualification passes.

Approval criteria

  • A named recipient, organization, role, and reachable reply address
  • A concrete development, audit, research, or security-evaluation use case
  • An operating system and toolchain compatible with the stated Preview evidence boundary
  • Acceptance of the access, expiry, non-redistribution, and support terms

Response boundary: requests are reviewed manually and no response time or support SLA is promised. We may approve, decline, wait-list, or ask follow-up questions. Preview support is best-effort and limited to the supplied archive, build workflow, and Free evaluation path.

Have a concrete repository workflow to evaluate?

Send the prefilled request with enough context for a fit review. Do not attach source code, credentials, findings, or other sensitive repository material.
